Tax Exempt Organizations

Many people feel that the heart and soul of a community rests in its charitable organizations. Groups of people band together with a common goal to serve the public good in many ways; humanitarian, health, historic preservation, housing, environmental, religion, animal care, education, natural resource preservation and management, scientific research, performing and visual arts, music, and childcare and youth development. Our federal government encourages these efforts with a charitable tax deduction for donors, or in the case of certain groups and associations, other tax advantaged status.

We have worked with concerned citizens establishing and running all these types of organizations. Whether your concern is obtaining approval of tax exempt status, questions about fundraising alternatives or state and federal reporting, we have been there and are happy to assist.
